Tips for 2011 Selling

    2011 Sales:  There are Listing Offices and Selling Offices.     Some offices just list houses and depend on  other realtors to sell them.   Get a Realtor that knows your Market and does listing & selling.   Have a CMA done prior to listing.   There will be competion this year from those bailing out and not interested in a profit, estate sales, foreclosures and short sales.  

Price it Right!   

Pay attention  to details: Minimize clutter, family photos, excessive furniture and decorating items.    Clean & simple lines  allow a buyer to focus on  the home.  And yes, Clean has a double meaning here.  Try to keep it clean. 

     Consider getting  a Pre-Inspection so that you may repair any inspection findings before a buyer writes an offer and trys to negotiate back some "repairs".   

     Consider a Home Warranty to provide to the Buyer. 

 

Price it Right!

     Have your home listed with a 10% margin; buyers automatically expect a 10 finger discount.   Be ready.
